About the artwork

Feldspar makes up about 60% of the Earth's crust, which means the ground you're standing on is mostly this stuff and nobody ever says thank you. So we did — in halftone dots, comic starbursts and a cluster of pink and orange crystals blowing up out of the middle of your chest. It's a rock pun and a genuine mineralogical fact at the same time. Wear it to the museum and watch exactly one person light up.
